GROWTH

Therapy is an opportunity for self-discovery, learning, finding your truth, and fully accepting yourself. It is growth

We believe that as intimidating as it can be, people do want growth and change in their lives and change based client centered therapy is what we are passionate about.

There are as many therapy styles as therapists, and each has its pros and cons a good primer on what to expect and how to gauge a therapist is found by clicking WHAT IS THERAPY?

We at Kehke believe that your journey should be as unique as you are; that means we base our session on your goals… and if you dont have goals yet? We can help with that too!

Sessions may be weekly at first to generate motivation, familiarity and momentum for change; other processes may only be a monthly check in, or a individual coaching session on a very particular item. However we do feel that for most issues a minimum of 4-6 hrs is needed to establish trust, goals and do basic work… if we are processing traumas or complex issues this may be more like weekly sessions for several weeks to months depending on the person, the process and the content.

Sessions may look like:

  • discussing your thoughts and experiences in life and how you feel about them

  • engaging in multi session processes like EMDR, CBT, mindfulness or other structured skillsets

  • formal screening tools for suicide or depression or substance use.

  • hypnotherapy sessions for relaxation, growth or healing of traumas

  • reviewing goals and skills we have been working to evaluate or progress

  • emotional exploration via art, body based therapies, cathartic experiences or breathwork

  • assistance with referrals or navigating the larger health system

ULTIMATELY THERAPY IS A PERSONAL CHOICE.

you can start at any time and you can stop at any time, switch therapists or take a break. We are simply guides on the pathways of wellness you choose your destination.

THE JOURNEY
